At a Wellburn Care Home our chefs and care staff recognise that good food is an important factor for good health, and they also understand the important social aspect of meal times.

We try to ensure that our residents eat together should they wish to do so, whilst respecting their privacy if they do not. Mealtimes are a time for not only enjoying good home cooked food, but also for conversation and discussion. Staff eat with our residents to promote a friendly atmosphere.

We use only the best quality ingredients, and source local produce for our menus, which offer a substantial choice and variety. We encourage our residents to have control over their diet, where possible, and encourage healthy eating alternatives.
